Services Exports — methodology
Category: Economy · Unit: $ million · Published quarterly
What this metric measures
The value of services Australia sells to the rest of the world each quarter — travel, education, professional and financial services.
Why it matters: Services exports are led by international education and tourism, and are a growing share of national income. They diversify exports beyond mining.
